The Roland RMP-5 Rhythm coach is a unique practice solution for percussionists that is essentially a combination 8" practice pad with a tunable mesh drum head, co-developed by Roland and Remo, a sound module with a 54-sound PCM sample library, and a rhythm trainer/metronome with a headphone output and built-in pickup.
The RMP-5 is equipped with a comparatively large LCD display, and features a dual trigger input for hi-hat and kick drum pedal or cymbal trigger expansion, along with a Mix In connector for monitoring use with external CD players and other audio playback devices.

Metronome sounds include standard click, human-voice count, rhythmic patterns and more
